The Witham Hub picks up three major awards

The Witham Hub has already picked up three prestigious new awards in the first half of 2024. Acquisition International Magazine has named The Hub as ‘Regional Social Inclusion Initiative of the Year 2024, for the East of England’ in its fourth annual Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) Awards.  The award is in recognition of The Hub’s hard work in producing so many initiatives designed to bring the community closer together and to combat social exclusion. The same organisation also awarded The Hub another Regional Social Inclusion initiative award for the range of pet products and services it supplied.

In addition, The Hub has won an SME UK Enterprise Award for the Most Compassionate Community Support Service for Essex 2024.  This award also recognises the key role that it has played in actively combatting social exclusion in the local area.

Tina Townsend, Founder and Chair of the Witham Hub Trustees, said: “We are absolutely thrilled and honoured that our work has been recognised again in the NPO awards and also in the SME UK Enterprise awards.  These awards very clearly demonstrate that we have a great, talented team at The Hub who work tremendously hard for the community. None of us do it to win awards but this is a very big pat on the back for all of us, particularly the volunteers, who give so freely of their time.”
